Dance pianist and composer
Robin Cho is a pianist, composer, and educator whose unwavering passion, dedication, and creativity have earned her the reputation as an up-and-coming visionary within her field.
She specializes in providing music for dance classes and has played for a multitude of esteemed ballet schools across the United States. She currently plays for Boston Ballet School, Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Harvard University. She has also worked with Jose Mateo Ballet Theater, Wellesley College, Boston College, Dance Complex, Green Street Studio, Concord Academy, Burklyn Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego and many more.
She has composed music for dance and theater and her compositions were performed in dance events, theater and dance festival. Her original composition for the play entitled “Ruth: The Musical” was performed at the Korean Church of Boston. Most recently, her music “O’Keefe” was introduced in Dance Visions’ 35th anniversary concert. Robin Cho is the founder and the director of Pianoberries Music Studio, where they offer youth and adults the piano program integrating arts and movement. When she isn’t composing music, Robin enjoys exploring new and exciting places. To date, she has ventured out to Peru and Cuba, immersing herself in their unique cultures that still inspire her to this day.
